MARIE BLONDIAUX

Marie Blondiaux is co-founder of COVEN. Since 2012, she has been developing and producing interactive works at the intersection of video games, emerging technologies, and storytelling, with a particular focus on original experiences, innovative forms of gameplay, and projects with a strong artistic identity.

She has produced interactive experiences and games including Phi, The Wanted 18, The Last Gaul, Radioactivity, S.E.N.S VR, 7 Lives, MOA, 4 FEET HIGH, Biblioquête, Masters of Light, Micromega, and HAUNTED: Escape the Dollhouse.

Several of these projects have been selected for or received awards at international festivals and events, including Tribeca, Sundance, SXSW, and the Venice Film Festival.

She was named a Chevalier of the Order of Arts and Letters by the French Ministry of Culture.

CELINE TRICART

co-founder

Celine Tricart is a director, writer, and game creator, and co-founder of COVEN. She has developed a distinctive creative style combining highly emotional storytelling, strong visual artistry, and innovative forms of interaction.

Her work spans film, immersive experiences, and video games. She directed the VR documentary The Sun Ladies, which premiered at Sundance, and The Key, which received the Storyscapes Award at Tribeca and the Lion for Best Immersive Work at the Venice Film Festival. At COVEN, she has increasingly focused on video games, directing Masters of Light and developing HAUNTED: Escape the Dollhouse, among other projects.

In 2021, Celine was awarded France’s prestigious title of Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters) by the French Ministry of Culture. She was a keynote speaker at SXSW in 2022.

Celine is also a martial artist, certified self-defense instructor, and avid gamer.

Julien

JULIEN SÉQUERT

Senior Producer

Julien has been managing IT projects across multiple industries for the past decade. After falling in love with video games production, he spent 5 years with publisher Asmodée Digital, overseeing developments of a dozen mobile titles and the successful Gloomhaven on Steam. As a senior producer, he manages teams and helps optimize their production pipelines and workflows. He joined Coven in 2022.

Elie

ELIE BUGLIONE

Technical supervisor

Elie Buglione is both game designer and lead programmer. He worked on various projects, tackling difficult tasks ranging from creative to technical as well as producing games. He worked on Asobo Studio’s A Plague Tale: Innocence as a technical narrative designer and various VR and mobile games. He frequently speaks at game-related conferences.

Maelle

MAËLLE HOLTZER

Game Designer

Maëlle Holtzer is a game designer who worked on renowned games (Criminal Case or Quantic Dream’s Detroit: Become Human), and devotes herself to games creation as well as streams, videos, workshops and conferences. Previous co-president of RIJV, an association committed to promoting diversity in the industry.

LOU BONNAVENTURE

Associate Producer - Marketing

With a MASTER in Gender Studies, Lou wrote her final essay on the independent video game Wednesdays. She started as an associate producer on Masters of Light and continued her journey at COVEN managing marketing and community for Masters of Light, Micromega, and Haunted.
